DTigers won all three games played in Lagos to finish top of Group B with a 6-0 unbeaten run. When asked what message he had for Nigerians ahead of the next window, Diogu asked for support. "Well, for us, we just need everybody`s support. For me personally, I`d like to see the country support us just like they support the Super Eagles. Because we have a chance to do really special things, not only in this next window but in the world championship itself. Emegano's 24 points consolidate D'Tigers 2nd Round Ticket at FIBA World Cup qualifiers Obi Emegano last night led the D'Tigers of Nigeria to her 2nd win of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in L agos with a 111-70  win over Rwanda. With Ike Diogu playing reduced minutes on the  night,  Emegano took charge with 24 points, 4steals , 3assists and 2rebounds  to ultimately seal a place in the all deciding qualifiers . Benjamin Uzoh continued to show leadership on the floor when Diogu - with 9points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds was on the bench for a major duration of the game. Uzoh put up an impressive 77.8% from the field on his way to 14 points with 3 assists and 2 steals while Mbamalu added 14 as well. The rave of the  moment Jordan Nwora was just a rebound shy of a 2nd straight double in his 2nd cap for the national team with 17 points and 9 rebounds. He called on Buhari to consider the option of honourably resigning his position as president having failed for more than three years to stop killings by armed Fulani herdsmen and others.
